Get Lost in the Old Town

Nature Adventure
National Reserve Park Ropotamo is situated near Sozopol. The Ropotamo river is one of the most beautyfull rivers in Bulgaria. During the summer season you can sail with a cruise ship along the the river and enjoy the rich flora and fauna. Not far from the river is the "Bear" swamp, where you can see the protected white lilies. Also in the area near Primorsko is situated an ancient tracian sanctuary "Begliktas" called also the Bulgarian "Stone Henge" .

For the fishermen, the fishing season begins in September and continues until late November. However, even during the summer months, you can enjoy your hobby of catching seasonal fishes at the port in the city or on any rock on the coast. Fishing in the open sea is also posible thanks to local fishermen and cruise ships.
